CAPTAIN HUNGRY is a food truck brand that brings excitement to mealtimes in the city with the world of Captain Oliver the bear and his friends (directly operated in Tokyo). Franchisees have complete freedom with their menus. You can operate with your own dishes, such as curry, fried chicken, and sweets (subject to review). What you will share with headquarters is the world of the characters and know-how on attracting customers and presentation. Recruitment will begin in early 2027, and we are currently accepting pre-registrations for the first 5 stores.

You'll be selling your own dishes. Curry, fried chicken, sweets, etc. – any genre is welcome (there will be a selection process). You're free to source your own ingredients. We select applicants based on their submissions to ensure that no two businesses in the same area have the same genre.
You can use logo and character illustrations. We'll design not only a pirate theme, but also characters that complement your dishes, as well as original characters unique to your shop. *Characters will appear as illustrations on vehicles, signs, POP displays, etc.
We design your vehicle, menu, POP displays, posters, and banners while listening to your ideas (printing and installation costs are separate). Don't worry if you're not good at making POP displays or posters. Based on our experience running our own food truck, we'll also help you think about choosing locations and how to promote yourself on Instagram.
[Process to Opening a Business] Pre-registration (request for franchise information is also OK) → Selection and interview (remote meetings are OK) → Contract → Training (worldview, customer acquisition, store operation) → Opening preparation (creating the design together) → Opening. We'll continue to support you even after opening.
