However, Ministop offers an "Intern Independent Contract Employee Program" for those who want to open a store alone! With up to 22 weeks of training, you can gain experience before becoming independent, making it a safe option even for those lacking confidence in management or customer service.

■Complete Educational Program…A solid educational program alleviates anxieties about independence and helps you acquire the skills needed to be an owner.
■Salary during Training…You can gain experience and earn a salary during training, allowing you to build up capital for independence – truly killing two birds with one stone!
Furthermore, new franchisees are exempt from the 1 million yen franchise fee, making it possible to aim for independence even if you lack confidence in raising startup capital!
Ministop offers strong support from headquarters, including owner training, management advice, and accounting services, making it a safe choice even for those new to the industry. Currently, approximately half of Ministop owners manage multiple stores, aiming for stable management and business expansion. Once your first store is established, you can manage a second store in as little as one year.
~Four Multi-Store Management Support Programs~
■ Multi-Store Incentive Program: Franchisees managing three or more stores under the same name receive an incentive of 1% to 5% of gross profit, depending on the contract type of each store.
■ Additional Incentive Program: Franchisees managing five or more stores under the same name receive an incentive of 0.2% of gross profit for each additional store.
■ ¥500,000 Franchise Fee Waiver: If a store leader qualification holder completes the training program, it is possible to start operations with just one full-time employee. In this case, the training fee equivalent to the franchise fee (¥500,000) is waived.
■ Various financing programs: We offer financing programs for those who cannot afford the full franchise fee, as well as for necessary funds related to interior and exterior finishing costs (CL) and guarantor fees (SL).

Handmade rice balls and side dishes made in the kitchen attached to the store are unique Ministop products. ■Before Opening
・Property Introduction…A detailed preliminary investigation is conducted regarding location conditions, market area, etc. They will introduce stores that match the owner's wishes.
・Pre-Contract Experience Training (1 day)…At a nearby flagship store
・Owner Training (28 days)
Week 1: Inage Training Center, Chiba Prefecture
Week 2: Kanto Training Store
Week 3 onwards: Training store in the planned opening area
・Pre-Opening Assistant Support (Starting 7 days before opening)
An assistant will handle all preparations for store setup (product display, promotional materials, kitchen setup, etc.). This allows you to focus on employee training for the 7 days before opening.
■After Opening
• Opening Sale (Special sale held for 3 days after opening)
• Support from Ministop employees in the assistant/area
• Post-opening assistant (approximately 10 days) *Varies depending on contract type
• Store advisor visits (approximately twice a week)
• Product display training sessions (twice a year, in spring and autumn. All store staff can participate)
• Regional franchisee training sessions (held irregularly)
• Contract renewal seminar (can be taken starting approximately one year before contract renewal)
