Founded in 1868 (Meiji 1), Bashodo is a Japanese confectionery maker with over 150 years of experience, dedicated to the art of mochi confectionery. Our flagship product, "Hon-zukuri Warabi Mochi," is widely available in Japan through our own stores, department stores nationwide, airports, highway service areas, kiosks, and currently in 12 countries overseas.
Now that warabi mochi has become widely known and enjoyed by people of all ages, and is sold year-round, we are seeking franchise partners who share our vision to further expand the reach of this healthy Japanese confection.
